A&M Industrial's Support Efforts Recognized By Local Chamber Of Commerce

A&M Industrial was honored by the Gateway Regional Chamber Of Commerce during their 109^th annual awards meeting as a recipient of the COVID Heroes Award, in recognition of A&M Industrial's extraordinary efforts to source and distribute critical personal protective equipment (PPE) during the COVID pandemic.

“We have an amazing team at A&M Industrial,” said A&M Industrial President David Young upon receiving the award. “I think the most memorable and impactful times have been during times of crises. When the World Trade Center collapsed, our company was called upon for all types of emergency equipment and we were open for eight straight days, 24 hours a day… I never had to ask anybody to come in. Similarly in 2012, after Superstorm Sandy, they worked tirelessly – with no lights or computer systems – to get critical components into the hands of utility companies working to restore power to the region. With the pandemic, we worked really hard sourcing PPE from around the world. I want to thank all of the associates at A&M for the hard work they’ve done this past year getting materials out the door for critical manufacturing, food processing, pharmaceutical, research and essential services throughout the region. It’s a real honor to be recognized, and this award today is for all of the people at A&M.”
