A&M Honored with “COVID Hero” Award from Gateway Chamber

A&M Industrial was honored with a COVID Hero award for its response to the COVID 19 pandemic by the Gateway Regional Chamber of Commerce at its 109th Annual Awards Dinner virtually on February 18th. David Young, A&M President, is pictured below receiving the award.
The Gateway Regional Chamber of Commerce is the largest business association in the New York Metropolitan Area with about 1,200 members. They hold approximately 150 events per year from large 600-person dinners to small 10-person breakfasts, and everything in between, with a great emphasis on networking and business promotion.
Over the last year, A&M Industrial has supplied millions of respirator masks, single use gloves and tens of thousands of gallons of sanitizing products and disinfecting cleaners. The company donated and distributed cases of N95 masks to hospitals throughout the region to address the shortages of PPE for healthcare workers and first responders.
Giving back is an important fundamental of A&M and the company matched employee contributions and donated $5,000 to community food banks in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Vermont where the company has operations.
